Richard Ferguson is a senior lawyer with extensive experience in business and commercial law, advising clients across Alberta for several decades. He was previously a founding partner of Lynass, Ferguson & Shoctor, a well‑established Edmonton firm focused on business law.

Richard has been called to the Alberta Bar since 1977 and has represented clients before all levels of court in the province. His practice focuses on providing strategic legal advice to business owners and operators, including matters relating to incorporations, corporate structuring, commercial transactions, real estate, and the purchase and sale of businesses.

A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan (B.A. 1975; LL.B. 1976), Richard brings a practical, solutions‑oriented approach to complex legal issues developed over decades of advising clients in a wide range of industries.
